Japan is the country which has more than 2600 year history. The Emperor who began his reign in the year 660 B.C. is considered to be Jinmu Tenno (Tenno=Emperor). The dynasty that Jinmu Tenno (Tenno=Emperor) began in the year 660 B.C. is called 'Yamato dynasty' and the Yamato dynasty continues up to the present. It is obvious that Yamato dynasty is the longest-established dynasty in the world. And more, Japan is the largest constitutional monarchy nation in the world. According to the Constitution of Japan, it is not specified that the Emperor (Tenno) is the head of Japan, and the status of the emperor is stated in the Japanese Constitution as "the symbol of the state and of the unity of the people." However, the Emperor (=Tenno) is the highest priest of Shinto religion that the Japanese people believe. Therefore, the Emperor is the existence that almost Japanese people take a fatherly interest in. So, the existence of the Emperor (Tenno) is the greater than the written head of state for the Japanese people. TAMAGAWABOAT http://tamagawaboat.wordpress.com/
