The Lamborgini like most supercars runs very hot in the engine bay. The ac compressor that is installed just next to the engine would run hot too. The compressor oil, which has quite a small amount of it especially in newer Lamborgini models, goes bad quickly. When the compressor oil fails to lubricate the compressor it would eventually fail.
